Catty Shack Ranch - Jacksonville, FL

My boys love the Jacksonville Zoo and we normally go at least once a week. We take advantage of our membership and it is a must see if visiting Jacksonville. We had never been to Catty Shack so I thought I would take the boys one weekend afternoon when John was on deployment. If you have never been you should go to see all the different cats that you can't see at the zoo. Miles appears to be very close to the lion but there are two fences between them.

You are able to get much closer to the Lions and Tigers at Catty Shack than you are at the zoo. Currently the Jacksonville Zoo does not have Tigers but they are working on building this new exhibit. The Tigers were very unique to Miles since this was the first time he saw them up close and personal.
